Where have I been?

Over these years, I have been so involved with life and work, that I forgot to attend to one of my passions - writing.
I do remember having created this blog, but then I neglected it like old furniture. Now it's time to wake up again and create meaningful posts.

Rains in Dubai

Now this is something unprecedented in history. Rains in a desert literally translates to once in a blue moon, but then it happened yesterday.

All of a sudden the weather was gloomy, clouds hovering above in the sky, and then magic happened. It poured and it poured like crazy. It was kind of a thunderstorm, with umbrellas freely flowing and cars getting smashed due to harsh winds.

So we were supposed to assume that the rains would bring some kind of relief to the extreme weather over here, but it has worsened the situation lately, with ever increasing humidity levels, some days as uncomfortable as 95% and temperatures soaring to 48 degrees Celsius.

Just survive through this weather somehow :D

Dilemma Resolved...

Referring to the earlier post, I had a word with my Director who is our ultimate boss. It was a 10 second conversation with a lasting impact. All he said was its not possible as of now but don't worry. Stay here for a while and things will be brighter for you. I am rest assured now and I can convey it finally to my manager that I am on.

Lets work to our best then...

Dilemma

Today, I had a word with my manager about a very important issue that was running into my mind since quite a long time. Trust me, My manager is cool. I had quite a frank discussion with him. Though I felt that it did not go well with him, but he was open enough to discuss ideas and guide me on what is the right path that I should choose so that I can take my career graph to a proper level.

Now I have taken some time from him to think on it and reply to him by Monday. Lets hope I can make some decision and finally tell him what I plan to do. There are certain policy related issues in the company as well and I think I know the direction on which I would think from now.

But lets utilize the time for the greater good at the moment and let me ponder on whats best for me and will then finally announce what I plan to do.

Before that I need to discuss another important issue with my Director as well.
